Accommodation

Sleeping accommodation is provided in the Great Stone Dwelling House. The rooms are in the shaker style but very comfortable with good natural light and private bathrooms. Rooms are located on the third and fourth floors of the dwelling house with stair access only (no elevators). The rooms do not have a maid service, but soap, shampoo and towels will be available.
Rooms do not have television or phones. Wifi internet may be available at the discretion of the museum.
Rooms with one or two beds available.

Meals
All meals are included and will be catered specifically for us. The menu is wonderful - see for yourself.
Dining room
There is no restaurant at the Shaker Museum, however a selection of water, soda and snacks are available free of charge. If enough guests choose the optional extra night, catering an evening meal may be possible . We will contact you if we will be able to offer the meal (at an additional charge).
What to Bring
Please bring either Q-Snaps or roller bars. (We will update you about sizes, which will be determined by the needlework project.) It is best NOT to use equipment that will require staples or taping, as it will be necessary to loosen the linen or remove it for additional needlework projects done in class. Other needlework supplies that you might need are a set of sharp scissors, tapestry needles for 32 count linen, extra lighting and/or magnification if needed, power strip and extension cord, (although some power strips will be available).
Feel free to bring your favorite snacks or drinks and please let us know of any special dietary requirements so we can make arrangements to accommodate those requests (if possible).
